Program Test Manager
Reports to the CIO
The primary role of a Program Test Manager is to:
Coordinate all test management activities, execution and reporting within a project
Deliver testing on time and within budget while meeting all requirements

Communicate test project status, resolve issues and incorporate improvement feedback to ensure effective testing
The responsibilities of a Program Test Manager are to:
Design test strategies, set directions and recommend the use of test tools
Develop and obtain sign-off for master test plan
Provide technical leadership and assistance in test planning
Manage the development of test plans, test data and test case designs
Manage the definition of test parameters
Manage all testing activities including functional regression testing, user acceptance testing and performance testing
Ensure that the test team employs the appropriate testing framework or test architecture to meet the Astro ITD’s testing needs
Coordinate the testing and release of software with the vendors
Communicate the release milestones to team members and ITD
Ensure new releases will not impact existing system operations, functionality or performance
Manage the monitoring, tracking, analysis and reporting of defects
Keep clear lines of communication to Development, Delivery and Portfolio Management teams
Act as the final arbiter of whether all testing activities have been completed according to requirements

Ensure all testing is conducted to meet timelines and the products meet business requirements
The Program Test Manager should possess:
Degree in Business Information Systems/equivalent
Experience with CRM, Billing and Internet applications
Hands-on experience with Amdocs CRM/Billing systems solutions
Experience in manual and automated testing methods
Multiple platform experience (Windows, Unix, Linux)
Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL) and Bea technology
