Test Manager and Test Execution End-to-End test and System test
In the TS (Technical Solutions) testing department all systems are system tested and end-to-end tested in a production like environment. I managed and executed following testing projects:
UMTS, Orange Speed, Vertigo project system test and end to end test management. This project includes 3 new data cards for connection and new software developed by Orange Group. Full E2E and regression of the existing GPRS network and new UMTS network. From new CDR layout to new Bill layout
CRBT, caller ring back tone, coordination of test activities performed by Orange FR (Hardware and network tests) and Orange UK (Content Management tests). Orange CH performed tests on ERS (Ring Tone Server).
Orange SMS Mailer, application on Outlook, Outlook Express and Lotus Notes for sending SMS to contacts like an email. I managed the End to End tests which includes a new switch, file types, mediation, rating and billing tests.
IVR, interactive response, new functionality includes automatic port out to Sunrise and Swisscom, listening, adding and removing of options (like SMS option) by subscribers and improved tree layout.

SHR, CAMEL, new routing of calls while roaming in other (Orange) network. ´A´ call gets routed to the home country, where the actual routing (to international or national B number) takes place.
During the testing phase general activities includes:
Creation of test plans and test cases
Managing of defects, failures or open issues from all previous steps in TestDirector 8.0

Executing repeatedly tests (regression tests) with WinRunner 8.0
